1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nova and any purchases made through our platform. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Nova operates in compliance with Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services and Federal Decree-Law No. 50 of 2022 on the Regulation of Commercial Transactions in the United Arab Emirates.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to place orders on our platform. By using our services, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the laws of the UAE. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Products and Pricing
All prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable VAT where required under Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and give you the option to confirm or cancel your order at the correct price.
4. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. Payment must be completed at the time of ordering. We accept cash on delivery and major credit or debit cards. All online transactions are processed through certified and PCI-compliant payment gateways. We do not store your full card details.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We deliver within the UAE. Estimated delivery times are 2 to 5 business days from the date of order confirmation. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including logistics delays and force majeure events. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the order to the address provided.
6. Returns and Refunds
In accordance with the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 50 of 2022) and its executive regulations, you have the right to return eligible products within 14 days of receipt if they are defective, materially not as described, or unfit for their intended purpose. Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging with all accessories included. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to your original payment method. Certain products may be exempt from returns for hygiene, software licensing, or safety reasons; these are clearly indicated on the relevant product page.
7. Product Care and Quality
Every item is quality-checked before it ships. Colour, fabric, and sizing may vary slightly from product photography due to display settings and manual measurement; refer to each product's size guide for exact measurements. Care instructions are listed on the product's care label — following them is the customer's responsibility and does not affect statutory return rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and software, is the property of Nova or its licensors and is protected under applicable UAE and international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from this website without prior written permission from Nova.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Nova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or from products purchased through it. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably within 30 days of written notice of the dispute before initiating formal proceedings.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered customers of material changes by email.
